The 'Taiji Together' Logo

The Twin Dragons were chosen as being symbolic
of two powers working together in harmonic balance (Yin and Yang) and they have been stylised to look part oriental and
part British.
In British tradition Merlin the Magician's first
significant story is his vision of the red and white dragons fighting - which he explained to King Vortigern as being
symbolic of the struggle between the Britons and the Saxons for the British Isles. The Saxons were the winners and the
Britons were pushed into the western mountains and became the Welsh, taking their 'Red Dragon' with them. Somerset too has
a dragon called a 'Wyvern'. In many esoteric traditions dragons (and wyverns) represent the raw power of mother earth, the
energy of nature and the environmental spirit (or 'Chi') of the land.
The Twin Dragons are supporting the symbol of
Yin and Yang and are sharing the responsibility of protecting this treasure (wisdom of the 'Great Ultimate'). This represents
all members of 'Taiji Together', working together regardless of individual styles, to learn from each other, help and support
each other and to uphold all the universal principals of Chi Alchemy for the benefit of future generations.
The 'Taiji Together' logo was designed by Linda
Griffiths (with some Photoshop trickery by Yuri Leitch). We intend the design to be printed onto t-shirts and badges as well
as to be used with flyers and posters etc. To help bring about public awareness of Taiji Together.
The red square at the bottom of the design is
Linda's signature (called a 'chop'), it is there as she is the designer of the logo.
